Who says that a Photographer has to wait for the spring to shoot Engagement Photos? Despite a little numbness in my toes sometimes, I think the winter is a great time for photography. The sunny days, flowers and green leaves are great too but there’s something interesting about bare trees and near frozen lakes.
Jennifer and Sean liked the idea of coming out on a brisk day last month for their e-session so, they made the drive from their home in Connecticut to the Capital District. This was good since I never meet them in person, so this gave us some time to hang out a little before their upcoming 2013 wedding. We started out in the alley in Troy behind Franklin Plaza and then took a drive over to Buskirk for the Historic Barns of Nipmoose. Both are great spots for engagement photos so our couple couldn’t decide on which one. So the solution was to just hit both spots.
I’m looking forward to Jen and Sean’s big day at the Canfield Casino in Saratoga, another great place for weddings.
Their pooch Lilly came along for a few pics. I think she was sizing me up in this shot…
After a quick change of clothes and a long drive our couple was ready for the Barns of Nipmoose…(check out the icy lake)
These guys were great and if you liked this one please “like it” or share it!
