I’ve been in the Capital District for around seven years now and I just realized that I’ve never done an engagement session downtown Schenectady till now. Just an oversight…I guess. I’ve done the city thing in Albany, Saratoga, even all the way down in Cooperstown but never Schenectady. I was definitely missing out on something because I had a great time shooting Renee and Jason’s engagement photos out there.
Their wedding day is coming a week from now and they’re looking to do their wedding formals in the same area so this was a great practice run. On their big day we’re going to run through the streets of Schenectady for really exciting night-time formals. Look out for those pics coming soon!
We went indoors for a little bit for this one in the halls of Proctors Theater. I love the warm colors there and I didn’t mind coming inside from the cold.
As usual with shooting in a city street, my goal was to make sure no one (including me) got hit by oncoming traffic…
