I miss weddings and it’s cold!…There, I said it. But, when you have great people like Marie that are willing to brave the cold for a photo shoot then it makes it all better.
Marie came to me to have some promotional photos done for her upcoming business and I was happy to oblige. My first inclination in 30 degree weather was to do studio photos but after some discussion she told me that she wanted a real urban look for her photos. Great!…..I knew the perfect location. We headed to an alleyway in Troy that isn’t pretty but it has so much character.
Now, looking back, I’m really happy that Marie was such a trooper and dealt with the cold in order to get some pretty nice shots. While, I do quite a few studio portrait sessions I really prefer to get outside and work with different settings.
