A did this fun fashion shoot downtown Albany, NY for a local fashion designer that should be very popular soon. This was done for publicity for her fashion line which will be featured in a local Albany newspaper (I’ll put the details up soon). Photography is fun when your subjects enjoy what they are doing and these ladies enjoyed this, despite it being one of the coldest and windiest day this season.
I think it is so important when I shoot Fashion or even Portrait Photography to get an interesting setting. I thought the old metal gate in the above photo made the photo so interesting.
I guess I like to live dangerously because we shot many of these photos in the middle of the street. These ladies did get alot of attention, though!
We threw the dog in at the last minute. I think it worked.
Many times photography isn’t about posing the subject but knowing how to capture the moment. In most of these shots the models had fun with it and just did what came naturally.
