Jennifer and Peter’s Wedding at the Elk’s Lodge

I guess Friday blogging is just our thing since we seem to put a new blog up every Friday. Is that because I think these blogs are a perfect way to wrap up the week or is it because we procrastinated on the blogging all week?…That could go either way I guess. Well, we were due to put up some wedding photography stuff since the last two posts were engagement sessions. …so here goes..

Jennifer and Peter had a pretty busy wedding day planned with prep photos and formals in Saratoga, a ceremony in Waterford and a reception in Ballston Lake. We were teamed up once again with our friends at Lipstick N Lashes who did a great job handling the hair and makeup for the ladies. Jennifer liked the idea of doing a “first look” and formal photos in Congress Park since we were already in Saratoga. That sounded like a great idea when planned it but I don’t think anyone knew that this was gonna be the coldest day in December (my nose is getting cold just thinking about it!). Everyone toughed it out and it was worth a little hypothermia.

I love these “first looks”…it’s really a nice moment for the bride and groom to share together without a room full of people….

It got so cold out we had to head in for a minute to thaw out a little but that was fine, the formals continued…

Jennifer and Peter were brave enough to come back outside for part 2…I love it!

I’ve seen a few hundred garters tossed over the years and Peter gets a thumbs up from me for style on the way he threw this one!

This guy gets a thumbs up for being so excited that he caught it!

Nice Hummer limo outside of the Elks Lodge for our couple….Great way to end this one.
