I have to admit it, most of the weddings that we shoot have a similar flow. We usually start with “bridal prep” photos that eventually lead us to formal photos, a ceremony and a reception. Usually our bride wears a flowing white dress and is accompanied by bridesmaids that are more nervous than she is. Of course there’s usually a Groom in a tux with Groomsmen that spend the day roasting him. But, who says that these have to be the rules of a wedding day? Why does a Bride have to wear a white dress? As a Wedding Photographer for the past 18 years, I’ve seen some amazing weddings that weren’t the “norm”. We were excited to capture Erica & Zach’s intimate wedding in Albany which wasn’t the “norm” This was our first wedding of 2017 and our first opportunity to shoot wedding photos at 677 Prime. It was great having so much time with our couple getting photos in the venue and around Albany. We even had the opportunity to shoot their after-party at the Albany Yacht Club. What a great way to start our wedding season!
