One of the benefits of being a Wedding Photographer is that I get to meet so many interesting couples. If I sat at this desk and just answered emails and edited photos I think I would go mad….or is it too late? Well, anyway… I love meeting people, especially interesting people. Especially people that don’t follow the so-called “norm” and are bold enough to do things differently.  It was great to meet a couple like Jessica and Mike that are interesting people with their own unique style…. and they really appreciate photography! I knew from the beginning that their wedding day was going to be great and it would be one that would be different from most. Last fall we got together for an e-session in Albany that was pretty fun. Check it out here…..It was one of my favorites.

So, I was excited for their wedding that was happening at 11 North Pearl St in Albany. When a wedding is in a downtown area I know that It’s going to be a great opportunity to use the city as my backdrop and Albany is great for that. We definitely took advantage of it.

These guys had a great wedding day and they were a great couple to shoot. Congrats Jessica and Mike!

I really like the classy black accents on this dress. Black accents on a wedding dress aren’t that common but that’s why I like it!

Of course we had to hit the streets of Albany for some night photos!

The officiant for this wedding owns a tattoo place (seriously..no joke) that was up the street so Jessica and Mike thought it would be fun to get some pics in front.

For some reason late at night on a dark side street in Albany the tattoo place was open…go figure
