After a month of downtime we were excited to get out of the studio to shoot another Glen Sanders Mansion wedding. Katie and Dave had a warm day for a wedding compared to the frigid days that we’ve had in the last few months. This was the first wedding in a while that I’ve been able to leave my hat and gloves home, so this gave me even more of reason to be excited for this one.
A little less than a year ago I had a great time shooting their Engagement Photos , so I was happy to see their big day finally come together. It shaped up to be a beautiful day with a start at Glen Sanders for prep photos followed by a ceremony at St. Johns Church in Schenectady. We grabbed a few formal shots at the church since we love the architecture there and then took a few more at Glen. A little rain started to come down while we were getting Bride & Groom formal shots but that didn’t stop the fun. We just threw an umbrella into the photos and kept shooting. We love that Katie and Dave stuck in there for their photos! When Reception time came around our couple came out on the dance floor ready to party (nice!). I don’t think we ever saw the dance-floor empty. What a great wedding!
