When Jenny & Phil told me about their plans for their Glen Sanders Mansion wedding I couldn’t help but but excited about their big day. Our studio has been to Glen Sanders over 6 times in the past three months but this wedding was definitely going to be different. Our couple wanted to incorporate a few Asian traditions like the “tea ceremony”. This is the tradition of the Bride and Groom presenting their parents and other family members tea before the ceremony. Jenny planned to wear a white wedding dress for their “first look” and formal photos but also wanted to wear a red dress for their tea ceremony and then change back to her white dress for their main ceremony (wait…my head is spinning again). I love the challenge of shooting weddings that are different from what we’re used to. Besides, our B & G and their bridal party were fun to work with (check out the pics of the bridal party on the dock). We enjoyed this one and as usual we wrapped up the evening with a few night shots!
