What a rainy, rainy day….bad day for shooting outdoors, great day to put up a wedding blog…so here goes….
Kim and Mike came to us early last year to discuss their wedding photography and video for their big day. Like many of our couples they wanted to get some engagement photos done first. So, we had a great engagement photo session with perfect weather at a farm in Altamont (goats, chickens, yaks and all). The photo below was my favorite pic from that day, but if you want to check out the entire blog post click here.
Now, let’s move forward to their wedding day a little more than a month ago…..I think it was one of the most hot and humid days of the summer, but Kim and Mike are a really great couple and they’re easy to work with, so that made the heat tolerable. As Wedding Photographers we’re used to shooting in extreme cold and heat, but they’re not so I’m so thankful that they put up with standing in the sun for around a hour for formal photos.
After the ceremony we headed to Treviso by Mallozzi’s in Albany (aka The Italian American Center) for their reception. How did the reception go? Well, wait till you see the dance floor photos…
Some prep photos with Mike..btw…with two photographers we can easily cover the bride and groom prep….thanks to Sarah for second shooting this one with me..also, thanks to Mike for shooting the video on this.
Time to get hitched!
I know all of us couldn’t wait to get indoors out of the heat!
You gotta love the cake topper…
That’s the DJ, Adam Conway of Conway Entertainment in the middle of the dance floor getting the party going!
These ladies had a great time
What a party…so many photo ops!
