While shooting weddings photos in Albany NY, I’ve seen a lot of beautiful and memorable moments throughout my career. Some of the best moments come from a fun and energetic couple with equally fun and lively guests! In the fall of 2022, as the leaves were changing and the sun was glowing, we captured Morgan & James’s engagement session in Albany’s 81-acre Washington Park. From this shoot, we knew this loving couple was going to have a great time on their big day! Almost a year later, we made our way to Wolferts Roost Country Club to photograph their wedding. The venue offers breathtaking ballrooms with a scenic background of the Berkshire Mountains. The setting was breathtaking, the leaves had just started to turn and the air was crisp.

Throughout the day I made sure to shoot a mix of candid and posed shots to capture the genuine emotions and reactions of the couple and their loved ones. As the ceremony began, the bride and groom exchanged their vows amidst the colorful leaves, and the guests sat in awe of the stunning couple. After the ceremony, we took advantage of the natural light, and took the couple’s portraits during “golden hour” just before sunset. 

The reception was a party to remember, with the couple and their guests dancing the night away. The energy and excitement were contagious, and I couldn’t help but feel grateful to be a part of such a joyous occasion. It was a pleasure to capture Morgan & James’s love story through my lens.
