Lauren & Chris's Wedding Day

I’ve always loved capturing the beauty of fall weddings. The changing leaves provide a stunning backdrop for any couple’s special day. The warm tones of autumn create a cozy and romantic atmosphere. Making it the perfect season for outdoor ceremonies and receptions. When it comes to fall wedding photography, there are a few things to keep in mind. Firstly, the lighting during the fall can be absolutely magical. The soft, golden light that filters through the trees can create stunning images that perfectly capture the mood of the day. It’s also important to be prepared for changes in weather, as fall can be unpredictable. It’s always a good idea to have a backup plan in case of rain or chilly temperatures.

Last October, we made our way to The Lodge on Echo Lake for Lauren & Chris’s special day. The venue offers the perfect blend of the Adirondack Mountains and a water-side setting, as it is set in a serene wooded area by the most peaceful, shimmering lake.

At the start of the day, there was a nervous excitement in the air as everyone prepared for the ceremony, which is expected. The couple had their ceremony outside with the view of the mountains behind them. As the couple exchanged their vows and officially became husband and wife, there was a palpable sense of joy and love that filled the air. Throughout the day, the guests enjoyed each other’s company and celebrated the newlyweds. At the reception there was plenty of laughter and heartfelt speeches where guests mingled and danced the night away amidst the colorful foliage. As the night came to a close, the couple beamed with happiness, surrounded by their loved ones. The emotions and atmosphere of the day were truly unforgettable, and I was honored to capture every moment of it.
