We shoot around 60 weddings a year and we are so happy for each and every couple that chooses us to capture their special day. But, sometimes I get to shoot a wedding that’s extra special to me because I know the couple. So, when my sis-in-law, Elise asked me to be the Photographer for her wedding in New Rochelle I was more than happy to help. Also, this was a great chance to do a wedding outside of the Albany area.
So, we headed downstate for New Rochelle to the Surf Club. In all my years of shooting weddings downstate I’m surprised that I never shot a wedding there…such a great venue….. from the classy manor style lobby to the sandy beach in the back this is a Wedding Photographer’s dream spot.
Elise & Dwayne(Lance) had a nice sunny day out with an ocean view during the ceremony with a formals out on the sand and a fun reception that the family will never forget.
That’s a beautiful spot for a wedding if I ever saw one…
Good times…I fell into wedding guest mode for half of the reception so great job by Associate Photog, Kevin for Second Shooting this one with me!
Everyone loves when “Teach Me How to Dougie” gets played at a reception….even the Mother of the Bride!
I don’t remember what happen here but it was pretty funny….
Before the day was over I thought it would be a great idea to take a few quick shots on the balcony…..Nice way to end this one.
I really liked this one! This was definitely one of our favorite weddings this year…. If you like it too please share it!
Dexter, these are beautiful photos! I’m so glad I was able to make Elise and everyone happy for her special day!
I may be a bit biased ( I doubt it), but you guys have done it again!! You truly captured the excitement and fun of the day without being intrusive or in the way! The pictures are absolutely beautiful… Although it would be rather hard not to capture beautiful pictures of such beautiful people! ;-D Awesome job as always!!! Thank you for your professionalism, artistic eye and craftful way pulling the whole day together to display a wonderful love story!
I loved every single pic
