We’ve been all over the place shooting weddings from as far as Lake Placid and New York City. We love it but, it’s still nice to shoot weddings right here near our Studio in Albany. So, we were excited when Jana & Josh booked us as their Wedding Photographers for their big day at 11 North Pearl in Albany. Before their day they wanted to do an Engagement Session. Where? Albany of course (you see the theme here?). On their wedding day I met our bride at the Hilton to shoot some of her “getting ready” pics. After that we headed across the street so Jana & Josh could see each other at their “first look” (great moment). We see black tuxes every weekend so we thought it was very original that Josh and his guys went with a plaid blazer and khaki look….cool stuff. After the “first look” we took tons of photos by Empire State Plaza before the rain downpour rushed us indoors. No problem, near the end of the reception at 11 North Pearl we brought our couple outside for a few more pics. I loved the way the city lights hit the wet streets in these photos. What a great day in Albany with a great couple!
