I love shooting weddings! There I said it. One of the most stressful and challenging jobs out there happens to be one of the most gratifying jobs. It’s good feeling when through this art-form called Photography you’re able to tell someone’s story. Especially when it’s the story of the most important day of their lives. What other job out there allows you to express your creative side and at the same time make so many people happy?
These are just a few thoughts that came across my mind this morning. Yeah…I ramble sometimes…. Now on to the wedding blog stuff…
Around a year ago I met with Amanda and Jason in Saratoga for their Engagement Session. That’s a great start since I really feel that it’s a great idea to do these shoots to get to know your Photographer before the wedding day. If you wanna check that E-Session out you can go here.
Our Bride and Groom had their wedding and reception at the Gideon Putnam Resort in Saratoga. Hopefully we will be getting there more often. It’s a great place for weddings.
The guys were having too much fun!
After a few prep photos in one of their suites we headed outside for a “first look”. Another great idea…Amanda & Jason knocked out most of their photos before the ceremony and had plenty of time for their cocktail hour. Here’s Jason waiting to see his Bride for the first time.
I love these…such a great moment!
We did a few more quick formals after the ceremony…
How cool was it that this horse carriage was sitting outside…
I love watching the father of the bride dance…
As we usually like to do we took a minute to take a few night formals..
