What better way to go into another weekend full of weddings than with a wedding photo blog! This was one we shot in Albany and Latham a few weeks ago for Amela and Safet. When I met with the bride she told me about her wedding day plans and she told me that there were going to be quite a few customs that day that we weren’t used to. Sure, no problem…being a Wedding Photographer means being adaptable.
Because of the way that there day was set up they had to see each other before the “traditional” ceremony, so I automatically realized that this was a great opportunity to set up another “first look” and get some formals (posed shots) before the ceremony. This gave a good opportunity to take our time and get plenty of shots around the Century House. Amela and Safet were such a cool couple to work with that I knew that we were going to be able to get some great pics.
Oh…by the way… their reception was a serious party. You don’t understand… I mean PARTAY! I really can’t put it into words. I guess it’s a good thing that we shot video for them too. The high-def wedding video highlights are coming soon…..

Time for the “first look”. Our groom waits in anticipation for his lovely bride…
Good stuff….
Such a cute kid…I had to throw this one in
Some pretty nice fields near the Century House…
The sky is “blown out” but I still like it…
We had to come out to get some night shots
