Amber and Ryan’s Anniversary Shoot

When I get asked how we’re able to shoot weddings year after year and still enjoy it; my answer is always the same: it’s the couples. As a Wedding Photographer I get to meet some amazing couples year after year. Because we shoot such an important day in their life we can’t help but feel connected, even after the wedding day. I love hearing from our couples months and even years after their wedding day. Almost a year ago we had a great day capturing Amber and Ryan’s nuptials at Franklin Plaza Ballroom. They had a really fun wedding that day (you can do the flashback thing with me here).  We all had such a great time that Amber & Ryan wanted to do it again, this time with an Anniversary photo shoot. Saying that I loved the idea is an understatement. I hope that more of our couples celebrate their Anniversaries with photos! A few weeks back I met with Amber and Ryan at their family’s home in Voorheesville that overlooked the Albany area. I shot some photos of them with some wedding memorabilia, we played with some smoke bombs (nice!) and they even shared some wedding cake. Good stuff…maybe we can do this every year.
