I think this is supposed to be the coldest and snowiest (is that a word?) winters in quite a while. Many thoughts of steaming hot chocolate come to our minds most days. Despite that, we’ve had some really brave couples that have come to us to do winter Engagement Sessions. Caitlin and Tommy  were not only brave enough to trek through 3 feet of snow for photos; they actually had fun with it. I enjoyed the challenge of shooting with snow up to my knees and finding creative ways to make a setting that seems dull look interesting. We were happy that our friends at The Appel Inn allowed us to use their property for this session. We had a great time shooting wedding photos at the Appel last fall so I was happy to get a chance to shoot there again. Caitlin and Tom were fun to shoot and we’re anxious to shoot their (warmer) wedding this fall at Normanside Country Club.
