As we get deeper into an action-packed wedding season, I have to say that it’s been nothing less than memorable (I have tons of funny stories). We’ve had some really fun and interesting couples, bridal parties that were nuts and guests at receptions that have done things on the dance floor that were…well…all I can say is…”wow”. But, I wouldn’t change a thing; this is the stuff that makes being a Wedding Photographer so interesting. We’re having a great time shooting this summer and we always can’t wait to see what our next weekend will bring. We were excited to shoot Kathleen and Michael’s Wedding at Franklin Plaza in Troy since we had such a great Engagement Session last year in Albany. We loved that our couple wanted to start a little earlier with a “first look” before the ceremony. The first look worked well because they wanted to be able to take tons of pics around Franklin Plaza and still get to enjoy cocktail hour. So, before the ceremony we knocked out a bunch of family photos, bridal party and couple photos in plenty of time for Kathy to take her walk down the Aisle. The night finished up with a great reception that had everyone on the dance floor all night (nice!).
