A month ago we ended what shaped up to be our best year so far with our Albany Studio shooting 70 weddings. I am so happy to work with such a talented team of Wedding Photographers and assistants that make this possible. It also helped to have some really cool and fun Brides and Grooms. The best part about our studio shooting 70 weddings last year is that 70 couples trusted us with the most special day of their lives and that is such an honor for us. How could I forget to mention the bridal parties…they kept us laughing and sometimes confused. Through all of the anxiety of shooting a wedding day, watching the wacky antics of Groomsmen and Bridesmaids always makes me smile (and confused).
2014’s weddings kept us moving all around Upstate New York and beyond. We found ourselves in towns like Albany, Troy, Schenectady, Saratoga and Lake George. We went as far north as Lake Placid, out west near Syracuse and even south to New York City. No matter where we went we tried to bring the fun with us and give our couples a great experience on their special day.
Last year we shot in all kinds of weather conditions and climates. We froze in minus 20 degree weather and sweat in 100 degree weather. We walked in 5 foot grass, snow, mud and some stuff that we probably shouldn’t have. Despite it all my team and I love shooting weddings and we can’t wait to do it all over again in 2015 (we’re nuts).
I don’t do this every year but after finishing such an amazing year that went by so fast, it was only fitting to reflect back on the best wedding photos that we’ve captured last year. We had a tough time picking the photos so we went based on what pics were the most popular on social media (Facebook and Twitter) and feedback from couples. Also, it was impossible to include all weddings.
This blog post has more photos than we’ve ever posted, so please allow time for the photos to load.
