Here are a few shots from March’s Wedding in Pittsfield, MA at the ITAM Lodge. This was one those days that the weather wouldn’t cooperate, so with the ceremony and reception held in the same location and no outdoor shots my challenge was to still bring some excitement to the photos.
These are two examples of the bride and groom being caught in the moment. The one to the left is a romantic moment after the cake cutting and the other one is just the two of them having fun on the dance floor.
For some reason I really liked the glow that came from the unity candle in this shot. This is one of the advantages of being able to shoot with no flash during a wedding ceremony. The mood of this scene would have been lost.
Due to the really bad weather this day I had to able to adapt to the situation. All formal (posed)shots had to be taken indoors so it took some creativity.
This was just one of those priceless moments when the groom got to dance with his sister. You could just feel the emotion in the room.
