I meet Tracy and Walter in the summer of 09′ and I could tell that they were anxiously anticipating their wedding day. So, it was nice to see more than a year later it became a reality.
Tracy was dressed nice and early on the big day and ready for a few photos before we left her parent’s house. We then headed over to St. Helen’s in Niskayuna (Schenectady county) for the ceremony. I have to admit that I never shot a wedding ceremony at St. Helen’s before but I was really happy with how open it was and how it brought in so much natural light that it was really easy to shoot with no flash (a photographer’s dream ceremony).
We took formals photos at a garden nearby and then took a few more formals with the bride and groom when we got to the Stockade Inn in Schenectady for the Reception.
I love shots like this that show the bride gazing into the groom’s eyes oh so lovingly…
Tracy told me that Walter loves pool, so since the Stockade Inn had a small pool hall we had to take some photos in there!
I think the light coming from the light outside made the cake a little more interesting….
Walter’s a brave man…….
