Sorry, I have to say it…it rains sometimes on wedding days. While we reschedule Engagement and Portrait Sessions all of the time due to bad weather, we just can’t do that for weddings. I’m used to getting calls or e-mails from nervous brides once they hear the gloomy weather forecast for their big day. A long time ago those calls would worry me but nowadays we always have a “plan B”. Jessica and Dan had a beautiful spring day for their Engagement Photos earlier this year but we would have to deal with some rain for their wedding photos in Albany. No problem….we just did their “first look” and formal photos inside the State Capital building. We love using this spot for photography, so it worked perfectly. Also, the Capital building is close to The State Room, which is where their ceremony and reception were held. As usual with soggy days, the rain stopped later. So, we were able to take our new Bride & Groom out for a few outdoor photos on State Street. The State Room always has some pretty cool classic cars for couples to ride around in, so of course we couldn’t resist getting some Rolls-Royce shots with Jessica and Dan!
