This wedding photo session was around five months in the making. Not for planning, but because there was a tough language barrier to get through. Well, let me back up…Yixin called us months ago to take his wedding portraits. The only problem is that it took maybe three or four calls for me to really understand what he wanted. It was tough understanding each other since their English was maybe 50% and my Chinese is 0%. With some persistence and patience on both sides we were finally on the same page.

Lu & Yixin are getting officially married in China in a few months and they wanted some posed wedding formals in Albany while they’re visiting. I’m happy that we were able to accommodate them and shoot their photos that will be shown as a slideshow at their wedding  reception in China.

Our couple decided to do most of their pics at Empire Plaza in Albany since they liked the photos that we’ve done there in the past. This was a great setting for them since this is a part of the Capitol District that’s pretty popular and very unique.
