I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… it’s great to get to know a couple during their engagement photo session which ends up being A prep session for the wedding day. After doing e-photos, I really feel more connected to the couple who I will eventually hang with for the majority of the most important day of their lives.

This was the case with Miranda and Gerard who came to Albany to do their engagement pics last November. I bet you can’t tell from the photo below how cold it really was that day….(brrr..)

So, finally Miranda and Gerard’s big day came around and we got such great photos back in November that I looked forward to this one. Everything was at Settles Hill in Altamont, which is nice for outdoor formals. The problem was that it started raining. Well, I always say that Wedding Photographers have to be adaptable, so we decided to shoot most of the formals on the deck under the awning of the building. So, not a bad day after all, especially with working with a couple that was easy to work with and trusted in me.

Miranda is such a good subject to shoot….It’s hard to get a bad photo of her!

I decided to try something new with this one to spruce up the overcast sky….

Our bride and groom changed into their dancing cloths and gave a great performance!
