How appropriate that I’m writing this blog while watching the rain pour down outside since this wedding was on one of the rainiest  days this year. But, hey…every weekend can’t be sunshine and birds chirping outside, right? I try to use my power of positive thinking to ward off the clouds on a wedding day, but it doesn’t always work.

It worked out well on a day like this that everything was at The Desmond in Albany so, we were able to get Morgan’s prep photos upstairs in one of their suites with our friends from  Lipstick N Lashes, go downstairs for the ceremony, shoot the formals in the indoor courtyard and then we headed upstairs for the reception with Mike from  Music Man Entertainment rocking the party.

Oh, by the way…if these guys look familiar, it’s probably because I blogged their engagement photos not too long ago (check them out  here). I could tell from shooting their e-photos awhile back that they would be a fun couple to shoot on the big day. Rainy day and all they were fun to work with and we had a great time taking their pics.

Speaking of engagement photos…I’m supposed to shoot some later today. Can I convince the couple go for a rainy session with raincoats and umbrellas? Might be interesting…hmmm
